The system can detect the initial signs of fatigue by monitoring lateral movements of the vehicle, advising to take a break. A visual and acoustic warning will be recorded on the instrument cluster.​

This system optimizes aerodynamics by using vents within the grille to adjust airflow to the engine department. It grants a faster engine warm up, reduces noise and protects the cooling unit.​

Traffic sign recognition

Both Tipo Hatchback and Station Wagon detects and recognizes traffic signs and displays them on the TFT cluster.

Adaptive cruise control

Your Tipo Adaptive Cruise Control System uses its front radar to maintain the already preset safe distance from the vehicle in front of you, driving at speeds between 30 km/h and 160 km/h.​

Lane Control

If the car moves out its lane unintentionally, the system will provide a visual indication on the instrument panel accompanied by resistance of the steering in order to bring the car back into lane limits.

Intelligent speed assist

With speed limiter active it’s also possible to limit the car’s speed to the maximum allowed level read by the Traffic Sign Recognition system.

Hybrid​

The Fiat Tipo maintains its bold, now hybrid, way of driving: get all the advantages of electrification with this mild-hybrid thanks to a newly designed 130 HP 1.5L GSE T4 engine paired with a 48V electric motor and 12V Belter Starter generator.

Lower consumption​

While you use the electric motor, your FIAT Tipo Hybrid ''turns off'' the gasoline engine completely, giving a range of up to 47% according to the total WLTP cycle. In the urban cycle, the percentage goes up to 62%.​

Hybrid engine

Your Tipo is very comfortable to drive, thanks to its hybrid engine and its the almost imperceptible changes between the electric motor and the combustion engine.​
